Dementia Friends Information Sessions
Book on to one of our free Information Sessions, delivered by our amazing volunteer Ambassadors!
During this friendly and interactive session you'll learn more about dementia, how it affects a person and what you can do to help people affected by dementia in your community. Big or small, every action counts!
The Session lasts around 45 minutes and will be delivered face to face at a Session near you or virtually via an online webinar or a livestream video.

Merton Memory Hub welcomes community organisations and individual community members who want to find out more about dementia to our specialised Hub in Merton. Learn about local services and become a Dementia Friend! Please add names here, and preferably email me on natalie.parsons@alzheimers.org.uk so I can keep track of how many attendees are attending from different organisations.

On a regular basis I host a DF Information session for the public. This is one of them. We provide tea and biscuits afterwards and a chance to chat with others present and me, the Dementia Friendly Communities Coordinator Richmond

This a session requested by a local theatre run by the local authority. It is open to staff, volunteers and general public. Well advertised on their notice board screen. No parking on site but Pay & Display public parking nearby

One of the regular sessions delivered for public, staff & family members at this care home. Limited parking on site but other parking nearby.

Delivered in the Training room opposite the reception during the Rushcliffe Dementia Roadshow event. This session will cover: Addressing the stigma and language surrounding Dementia; The 5 Key Messages you should know about Dementia; How Dementia can affect a person; Where to direct people for more information and support. Help make Nottinghamshire a Dementia Friendly place to live.

Do you want to know more about Dementia and how it affects a person and those who care for them? This is an informal session to provide you with further information to enable you to become dementia friendly. A 1 hour information session with refreshments and resources to take away.
