Dementia Friends Information Sessions
Book on to one of our free Information Sessions, delivered by our amazing volunteer Ambassadors!
During this friendly and interactive session you'll learn more about dementia, how it affects a person and what you can do to help people affected by dementia in your community. Big or small, every action counts!
The Session lasts around 45 minutes and will be delivered face to face at a Session near you or virtually via an online webinar or a livestream video.

Do you know what Dementia is or do you worry about memory loss for you or your relatives? Join Karen at Oakley Grange Care Home for a relaxed interactive session to find out more about the Dementia Friends initiative. Those living with dementia sometimes need a helping hand with their daily lives and to feel included within their community. You will learn more about what it's like to live with dementia & the small things you can do to make a difference. Everyone welcome & free car parking onsite.

A Dementia Friends Session to be delivered as part of the Seniors Programme at our local Leisure Centre.

Being a Dementia Friend simply means learning more about dementia, putting yourself in the shoes of someone living with the condition, and turning your understanding into action. From visiting someone you know with dementia to being more patient in a shop queue, every action counts. Become a Dementia Friend by joining us for this session and committing to take forward the knowledge you learn in it to your everyday life, to help improve the lives of people living with dementia.
