It's day three of Dementia Action Week and we have another fantastic example of the simple everyday actions that Dementia Friends are taking across the country.

Here's Lynda's story:

'I took a gentleman home who had become anxious in the supermarket. After a cup of tea he was more relaxed. I also contacted his relatives to let them know what happened and asked the supermarket to contact me if this happens again.'

How did becoming a Dementia Friend help you take this action?
'Wearing my Dementia Friends badge helps to let people know that I can be of help. I also trained as a Dementia Friends Champion which helped me to deal with the situation calmly.'
