The Dementia Friends information session, which is an Alzheimer's Society initiative, is a free event which lasts no more than an hour, and those attending learn five key messages about dementia, and a little bit about what it is like to live with dementia. It is a friendly and interactive session, which includes activities and opportunities to share ideas and think about the small changes that can be made, to create dementia Friendly Communities. All welcome.
