Thank you for expressing an interest in volunteering as a Dementia Friends Champion.
Update on becoming a Champion during the Coronavirus pandemic
Please note: following the Government's advice on Coronavirus (Covid-19), we are not currently able to offer face-to-face induction days for new Champions so there are no available dates. We are developing a virtual induction day and you can still register to become a Champion in the meantime, by following steps 1 to 3 here. You won't be able to complete steps 4 to 6 and book an induction after verifying your account but by registering your details, we can get in touch to let you know as soon as there are inductions available to book onto.
As a Dementia Friends Champion volunteer you should be ready to speak in public about dementia and make a commitment to create at least 100 new Dementia Friends.
Once you have completed the registration form and verified your account by email you will be able to search and book onto Dementia Friends Champions training in your local area.
We will use your details to keep you up to date about your role as a Champion. To find out more about how we use your personal information please take a look at our supporter privacy statement.
